About

Dr. Levine

I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University (LIU) – Post and completed my pre-doctoral internship at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center. Before my internship, I received training at LIJ’s Zucker Hillside Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center, where I worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with adolescents and adults facing various diagnoses and challenges. During my training, I gained experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), relational psychotherapy, and insight-oriented therapy. These approaches allow me to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples address challenges related to sexual health, relationships, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is rooted in empathy and compassion, creating a safe and supportive environment where you can feel truly seen and understood. We all strive for inner peace and self-acceptance, yet life’s challenges can leave us feeling uncertain or off balance. Through our work together, we will identify the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, uncovering patterns that may create obstacles. By addressing these patterns, you can regain a sense of control and purpose in your life. I am committed to helping you process and gain insight into your unique experiences and emotions. I believe true resilience lies in embracing the duality of acknowledging and accepting life’s hardships and accompanying emotions while finding the strength to move forward.

My goal is to empower you to learn from your experiences and foster healthier, more meaningful relationships—with yourself and those around you. I hope that together, we can build resilience and create a life that aligns with your values, bringing you a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment.
